The accommodation itself was fantastic! The view was gorgeous, and the location was perfect, being so central to the town! However, as the title suggests, it lacks the basics.

There was no oven glove.( my other half burnt her hand removing an item from the oven whilst trying to use a bath towel?!) No chopping board No tea towels No bin bags No hand soap No hand towels No floor mats No tablets to use the dishwasher. There was one roll of toilet roll in the apartment.(and upon arrival, the toilet was filled with sand and rock from the cleaner putting the sweepings down there) There was no instructions regarding check out and disposal of rubbish. If we were told we needed to bring these things, it would not have been an issue, but the website was lacking in information in such a way, that we found it hard to navigate full stop. Also, before our arrival, the agent stated that there was no air con, as believed thought the apartment “caught the breeze” during the day, it did... but at night, it was unbearable... there was no breeze. For €1,300 a week, I would be expecting air-con, and if not air-con, at least some fans to try and replicate the so called “breeze” in the evening. |
